the President has the power to arrest U.S. citizens and legal residents inside the U.S., and imprison them indefinitely in a military prison, without charging them with any crime, based on his assertion that the imprisoned individual is an "enemy combatant."

There really isn't more I can say about it.  This terrifies me.  I have to ask my ladies at MT, Can this be possible?  How can this be legal?  Could this make someone (one of us) an "enemy combatant" for raising our voices against the policies of this white house?  Seriously, this is one of the scariest things I have ever read.
